We had a leadership meeting on Sunday, March 1. The Associate Pastor's Dad was the guest speaker. He spoke on Jesus Only, Jesus Always, and Jesus Everything. It made such an impact on me. These words have been on my mind constantly since the meeting. It really is Jesus Only, Only Jesus can really change things. Jesus Always, Jesus is always the answer. Jesus Everything, Jesus is my everything!

I Can Do All Things

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."How many times have we read that scripture and misintrepeted it? I wondered about the word "which". Because Christ isn't a "which" but a who. This is not saying we can do all things through Christ. But it is saying if it is something that is going to make us better, and stronger, He will help us do it. The "which" is referring to the whatever it is that we are trying to do.

It's A New Year

It's New Year's Eve, 2008, all ready. Actually it's less than 3 hours until 2010. And I have to give praise to God for all He's done for me and my family. Everyone is healthy, in this economy my children have jobs when there's no jobs to be found. Things financially are very tight, but just when I think it's time to throw in the rope, God shows up again. He's an on time God, and that's for sure.

My spiritual goals for this year are to read more of His word, Pray more, and worship Him more. I also want to read some Christian books I have here at home. I have already read them once, but it's been a while, so I'm going to read them again.

Thank you Jesus, for 2009, and thank you for another brand new year!
